Paul Kodjo AGBOATI, MS, MSc, MS

CEO

After spending his early professional life teaching Mathematics and designing mobile networks as Engineer for some of the biggest European telecommunication companies, Paul has spent the last 23 years developing business activities throughout Africa. 
With some of the Dutch leading environmental companies, Paul has setup a company which has performed many waste management projects in West Africa, especially in Benin, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Mauritania and Senegal. 

In the last 12 years, Paul has setup and developed many resource (mining, oil and gas) companies in Africa. Many mining licenses were secured by Paul in countries such as Mauritania, Niger, Congo, Tanzania, and Mali. Oil and gas licenses were secured by Paul In Niger, Ghana, Tchad and Ivory Coast. 

Paul is also on the board of 2 private resource companies in Perth Australia. Many of his mining companies in Africa have been taken over by some listed ASX companies. 
Paul has developed throughout all these years, a reliable professional network on the African continent and around the world. 

He has a resourceful experience in liaising with government entities such as national mining companies and national oil and gas companies. 
Paul has a MSc in Mathematics from the University of Togo, a MSc in Environmental Engineering  from Georgia Insitute of Tecnology (Georgia Tech) in Atlanta, Georgia (USA), and a MS in Mobile Telecommunications from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Telecommunications in Paris, France. 


John WAREING, MBA, MSc

Executive Director, Finance and Administration

John Wareing is a business professional with over 25 years extensive corporate and strategy skills developed across the Mining, Oil and Gas, Government and Education sectors. 
He is a highly adaptable person that has worked as a Director, Consultant, Advisor and facilitator to numerous companies in Australia and internationally in the areas of project generation, strategic advice, commercialisation, complex solution development, government and stakeholder management. 
He has significant experience in multi-party negotiations across state, national and international jurisdictions and has an extensive network of political and business contacts across government, mining and oil and gas. 
He has a proven track record in business development in tough markets, capital raisings, broker management, corporate presentations, mergers and acquisitions, corporate social responsibility, team development, business process mapping, application selection and development and change management. 
In addition, Mr Wareing holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) a Masters of Business Leadership (MBL) and a Masters of Science in Mineral and Energy Economics. 

 


FRANCK ROSSET, M&A Senior Advisor

Founder of Praxis Finance, Investor Technology Start-Ups, 4 IPO 

Adviser

Obtained a degree in Classical Literature from Sorbonne before entering IEP (Institut d’Etudes Politique de Paris, “Science Po Paris”) and joining ISA (Institut Superieur des Affaires), the MBA Programme of Groupe HEC, which he completed in 1986.

Mr. Rosset worked as an independent advisor to banks and insurance companies until he founded Praxis Finance, an independent investment boutique. Backed by a group of family offices, the company invested in early stage high technology ventures with specific French expertise.

In 1999 he founded Adomos, an internet mortgage broker. Adomos went public in 2001 and

Mr. Rosset used the proceeds of its sale to become an investor in various internet and technology start-ups. For of them have since been IPO’ed. In early 2012, Mr. Rosset joined Ermgassen & Co to become its Representative for France and other French speaking countries. 


Kamil KHOBZI, PE, MBA, MPM 

Mining Technical Adviser 

Kamil has 45 years of experience in Mining Exploration and Geology. A mining consultant and geological engineer, Mr. Kamil Khobzi holds a Master’s degree in mining geology from the Mining Institute of St. Petersburg, and Master’s degrees in both project management and business administration from the University of Quebec in Montreal.

He has served as Vice-President of the Association des Explorateurs Miniers du Québec and is President of an advisory committee for Géologie Québec.

In 1998, the Quebec Prospectors Association named Mr. Khobzi Prospector of the Year in recognition of his discovery of the Gemini base metal deposit. 


Oleg SCHKODA, MSc, CE 

Oil & Gas Operations Adviser.

Oleg Schkoda is an Oil & Gas executive with more than 20 years of experience in several continents, with companies like Schlumberger, Baker Hughes and General Electric. He joined the Shell Technology Ventures Fund where he managed a company based in Houston, Texas, in subsea technology. 


After returning to London, he worked for small E&P companies, with assets in Africa (Panoro, Simba Energy,…) and advised service companies like Cougar Drilling Solutions in large projects in West Africa. 

Recently, Oleg founded the first public E&P with assets in Congo Brazzaville which was listed on AIM on the 6th of March 2017, Anglo African Oil & Gas. He is the Director of Operations and manages the local subsidiary in Pointe Noire, Congo. 
Oleg is fluent in several languages and holds a master degree in Petroleum engineering (IFP, Paris – France), in Petroleum Geology (ENSG, Nancy – France) and is a Civil Engineer in Mining exploitation from the ULB (UniversiteLibre de Bruxelles – Belgium). 
He is also the very proud father of Oscar and Evie. 


Steve SMITH BSc, FGS 

Oil & Gas Technical and Geological Adviser 

Steve is an exploration petroleum geoscientist with over 30 years’ experience in a number of international companies and now specialises in all aspects of exploration new ventures.

He has a strong technical background in geology and geophysics but also experience in assessing non-technical risk, such as economic, commercial and political considerations. 

Within the past 10 years he has been European New Ventures Manager for Shell, New Ventures Advisor to the CEO of an AIM listed independent and New Ventures Manager for a Japanese IOC. In all of these roles he helped develop new venture strategy and negotiate new acreage positions. He is used to working in joint venture partnerships and liaising with national oil companies, governments and other national licensing bodies. 

Steve offers a breadth of experience in exploration project management including work flow, technical QC, portfolio, and technical and non-technical risk assessment. 

Steve has a BSc. in Geology from the University of London and is a Fellow of the Geological Society of London. He is also a member of the EAEG and the PESGB
